Rode Preston Guild Wheel today for the umpteenth time and thoroughly enjoyed it. However I always think the drop down to Brockhole if doing it clockwise spoils it. Anyone able bodied can push down the slope but anyone else is screwed for example my Dad who is 87 and rides an E Bike could not cope or anyone on a recumbent or anyone with a Child Trailer. Anyone know the history of the PGW and any reason why that short stretch is as it is?
