QUALIFIERS
The first part of the competition will be a circuit of 30 flash problems. All these problems will be split between the main 'circuit area' of The Climbing Works, the Rab Competition Wall & Unit E. The circuit is the more informal part of the weekend with the scores being predominantly self-marked with the problems starting off relatively easy (Font 5+/6a) and getting very hard at the upper end.
This part of the day also includes a team competition (4 people of mixed gender) with the highest team score winning £1000! You don't have to be part of a team, but it makes it a more fun day climbing with your friends.
The highest individual scores from the circuit part of the competition qualified for an on-sight semi-final and final on the Competition Wall.
SUNDAY 17TH MARCH 2024
SEMI FINALS
The Semi-Finals will take place on the Rab Competition Wall in an IFSC senior bouldering World Cup semi-final format; with the top 20 female & male competitors challenging themselves on 4 set problems. These problems will be judged independently. The 6 highest female & male scores will progress to the finals.
FINALS
The big final will again take place on the Rab Competition Wall with the whole wall being reset between the Semis & Finals. Here the top 6 from the Semi Finals will compete on 4 women's & 4 men's problems to decide CWIF 2024 overall champions.
The CWIF couldn't happen without support from these great brands:
