Back in November, Will Bosi made the third ascent of Shawn Raboutou's 9A boulder problem, Alphane (f9A), in Chironico, Switzerland.
Will spent ten sessions on Alphane before finally getting the ascent, in addition to having spent two sessions on the boulder with Shawn and Dave Graham when it was still a project.
Will's ascent made him just the eighth person to climb 9A.
Since then, Will has gone one to make the long-awaited second ascent of the world's first 9A boulder Burden of Dreams (f9A), almost seven years after Nalle Hukkataival made the first ascent.
In the aftermath, Will said that Alphane, despite being easier than Burden of Dreams, was still 9A, although potentially 'soft 9A', whilst Burden of Dreams was 'solid 9A'.
Check out the film of Alphane below, with an ascent of Forgotten Gem 8C and a flash of Vecchio Leone (f8B) thrown in for free.
