Rockfax Description
A fingery classic of the crag, the roof is taken direct from a low start on a juggy flake, crossing the roof and eventually making a powerful lurch for the higher juggy break. From here a rockover back left to a sinker pocket gains the top (this top section alone is Delphinius f6A+). Easier for the tall although there is a sequence for everyone. A multitude of variations and eliminates exist, much to the chagrin of every guidebook writer, with one of the best and most logical avoiding the juggy break and instead gaining the sinker pocket from the positive ear - Ear variation f7B+. © Rockfax

βeta: Heel beta was very tricky for me. Was all about twisting your hips and knee upwards to create an angle that allows you to slide your heel into the slot well. Shoes with narrower heels help and play around with the left foothold as this massively helped me find a good position to slide the heel in. | ||
