Short routes, long Alpine scrambles and more serious bigger routes are found on the perfect Granite of the Klein (or "Chli") and Gross Bielenhorn. The two "Camels" are conspicuous and attractive landmarks.
The south face of the Klein Bielenhorn has some rock climbs with fewer bolts than usual and tending more to a "trad" than "sport" classification in some cases.
The Klein Bielenhorn is also an excellent and not too difficult ski tour when conditions permit.
The small Sidelenhütte is quite adjacent, but the walk in from the road to the hut is only a little over an hour, so many routes are feasible in a day.
