Split into three areas, Sport (approx. 57 routes), just north of El Rito and trad (approx. 15 routes) about two miles further north (the road to the trad is difficult in the dry and almost impossible for a normal car in the wet). Need minimum 165ft rope for sport ( a few routes need 200ft) and a pair of 165ft ropes to ab off the trad routes. There is also bouldering, the guide suggests you look for the chalk on the boulders to find the problems. Finally the third area is Little River Wall and is a more recently developed sport crag.
None are mentioned in the guidebook. In N.M. there seem to be a lot of areas with petroglyphs and other archaeology, so take care.
There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
