Golden Wall at Girvan © John S. Watson
The heavily eroded, tortured and folded coastal geologies between Girvan and Lendalfoot provide plenty of bouldering sectors, though shore levels vary and tidal problems can change in nature. Some landings are poor and heavy matting is required, as well as very low tides for some projects. The most accessible tidal blocs are on the beach at Lendalfoot, with many other blocs, walls, coves, geos, tunnels, roofs and slabs all the way north to Girvan.
Parking in various laybys by the shore road. Take care if walking along the road as it is a busy trucking route.
