Housel Bay is a delightful place and has an attractive beach that is exposed at low tide. It is an ideal picnic spot and offers a sheltered sun-trap for non-climbers as well as climbers. The routes here are also ideal for introducing non-climbers to the pleasures of the vertical.
Approach from Lizard village, by walking east down the road past Ann's Famous Pasty Shop and the primary school. Turn right down the lane towards the Housel Bay Hotel. Join the coastal path at the hotel.
Alternatively, park in the National Trust car park at the lighthouse and walk along the coast path for 800m.
