Rockfax Description
A pleasant route to avoid the crowds. Start left of Tennis Shoe.
1) 20m. Scramble up the easy slab to gain a terrace above and belay just before the corner made by the next slab.
2) 4b, 20m. Climb up the ramp heading rightwards until you can move back leftwards up the steep slab to a belay at its top.
3) 4c, 20m. Move left past a couple of corners and climb the rounded rib, passing a bulge on its left on positive holds. A groove leads to a junction with Tennis Shoe mid-way up P5. © Rockfax

βeta: Rockfax topo p3 shows too far to the right, as the route traverses further left then goes up, although the description is correct. Correct Topo can be seen in the CC Ogwen guide. | βeta?

βeta: The ground up guide (edition with The Axe on the cover) has the topo in hopelessly the wrong place, the true line is a rising traverse up and right starting about 20m left of where the ground up line is. If there isn't sign of wear, and you're not on a large slab with a 3-5m long gangway/ramp feature leading up and right from the bottom, then you're in the wrong place!
