A rarity for Guernsey - a non-tidal crag! This cliff has been quarried, but there is no loose rock. Some climbs have become a bit vegetated and need a clean, especially the top-outs on the E2 and HVS.
There are belay bolts on the top and back side of the top pillar - used by schools for abseiling off. The top bolts were new in 2009.
There is the potential for a very hard route on the slab.
Park by the toilets and kiosk at the southern end of Cobo beach to see the climbs, a path leads straight into the quarry from the coast road.
No bird restrictions.
Abseiling is banned without permission according to a sign at the top, however climbing isn't mentioned.
There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
