The best bit - about 100m - is near the Neston Village end - easy walk in from Bushell Road. Rock like Pex. The further you go along the deeper the cutting gets but the rock deteriorates and the dampness increases.Sandstone walls with pockets, ridges, smears, cracks, pebbles; and almost always just vertical. Monster traverses, or single problems but the top outs are overgrown and need regular strimming.
Access is via the footpath that runs along the old railway line, frequented by people, dogs, horses and all manner of sunday afternoon perambulators.
