The Palace area consists of a small trio of cliffs around an open valley. Thalassa is over on the left, Baby House in the centre whilst the actual Palace crag is the right-hand cliff - the one riddled with holes. The crags were quite popular in the early days of climbing on Kalymnos, one even made the cover of the first guide to the area. They are generally quieter nowadays - more than a couple of teams here is unusual.
Drive through Arginonta and on past Arhi. Eventually a right turn to Palionisos appears. Drive up this to parking by the first right-hand bend. Just above here a track runs left under Palace and Baby House and on to Thalassa which is reached via a goat-gate and a short scramble. Close all gates.
After leaving the road pass though the first gate and take the right path to Palace sector. But there is a fence in the right path to the Baby house & Thalassa sectors. It is padlocked and wired shut, when trying to find a route around was shouted at by the farmer.
Best to assure there is access issues with Thalassa and Baby house.
Same access issues 07/11/20 - could not see a way to get to Thalassa
