Immediately behind the repeater station just below the summit of Mount Oberon, Panorama Wall can be reached by a short bushwhack off the road. It is clearly visible from the last bend in the private road/public path that is used to access the summit. The rock is good quality featured granite in the lower parts and trends to slightly more friable and mossy upper sections in parts. It dries quickly after rain. The bottom is open and clear of dense bush. Approximately 40-50m high.
An off track hiking permit and rock climbing permit must be obtained from the Parks Victoria office at the Tidal River campground prior to climbing at this crag. Care should be taken to leave no trace and not damage the native flora around the base, on route and at the summit.
