One of the biggest cliffs in the arve with fantastic views of the Mont Blanc Massif and routes up to 800m long. A very quiet area which can feel quite adventurous considereing its relatively easy access. A mix of trad and sport on generally good rock.Â
Park at either Plaine Joux or near the strange hospital building. There is no real path to the base of the cliff so make a beeline through the woods. Because the forest is so dense it may be easier to stick to a river bed as long as the flow is not too strong. Approach is 1-2 hours depending on how lucky you are with path finding through the woods.
