This tor, set on an exposed hillside on the east of the moor is home to only one trad route and is a popular postcard or calemder picture. It is worth making the journey to see the spectacular rock formations where the tor has been eroded by the weather. There is even a walk-through arch of rock on The Thurlstone.
Approach is best via Batworthy Corner.
