Hi, I'm heading out to the alps for a month on Tuesday and due to the amount of recent snow we will be taking our touring gear.
Weather permitting we may head straight to Aosta, specifically the Gran Paradiso NP.
In addition to the Gran Paradiso summit I wondered if anyone could recommend touring itineraries in this area ideally something objectively safe and with some elevation to help acclimatising?
The "Excursionista" maps do several ski touring editions (blue covers) for areas within the valley. The newer ones come with small guides too, which are accurate in my experience. Can easily be picked up in Aosta's main street.
