Rockfax Description
A short but perfectly formed route with a beautiful crack. Follow the small rightward-facing groove to its top. Karate-chop your way up the excellent jamming crack above. Scramble up and right to join Sub Cneifion Rib on its second pitch, or escape by scrambling left. © Rockfax

βeta: A good pitch up a strong line, it takes some drainage and tends to be a bit muddy in places. Jams are great despite the algae and mud in the crack, but there are also a lot of other holds. 2 red camalots would have an asset. Soft VS and low 4c, it would be HS 4b in the Peak. Much easier than the Final Crack of Direct Route, albeit that is probably HVS 5a despite getting the same grade. | βeta? | |
