In this week's Friday Night Video we follow Italian climber Federica Mingolla on her transition from competition and indoor climber to full-on trad climber. With the help of a friend, Mingolla realised that competing was not making her happy and slowly began to discover her love for the outdoors.
Since leaving the competitive world in 2014, Mingolla has gone on to climb some impressive multi-pitches; Tom et Je Ris (f8b+) in the Verdon Gorge and Itaca nel Sole (f8b) in Valle dell'Orco are two particular highlights.
