Reporting to: Competitions Programme Manager (GB Climbing)

Location: BMC, 177-179 Burton Road, Manchester, M20 2BB

We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to join our team at the BMC and GB Climbing.

With the inclusion of IFSC Competition Climbing at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games and increased investment from Sport England, we are embarking on a journey to develop the sustainable athlete and workforce development pathways that will support our long-term ambition to become one of the leading competition climbing nations by 2032.

As the National Governing Body for Competition Climbing, we are seeking someone to help us evolve our National Competition Climbing Programme to "Inspire All Generations" through the delivery of world-class national, regional, and grassroots/participation competition climbing events.

The ideal candidate for this position is a dedicated and collaborative team player who thrives in high-performance team environments. One of the key responsibilities of the role is to create a grassroots calendar of competition climbing events that will feed into the Talent Pathway for England and Wales. The position will support the planning and execution of the BMC's climbing competition programme, up to the elite level.

Although competition climbing experience could be an advantage, we are equally keen to talk with candidates who can demonstrate an ability to work with others, listen and learn quickly, with a positive, can-do attitude.
