I'm organising a club trip to Pembrokeshire on the late May bank holiday. Any recommendations for climber-group tolerant campsites that are flexible about not knowing exact numbers till the last week or two (likely 8-15 people)?

I know St Petrox but having gone there last time, it would be good to consider other options, either near Ranges or Lydstep / Penally area. Needs to have showers and not be too expensive. Walking distance to the pub is a bonus, but not essential.

Have you looked at Gupton Farm? https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/holidays/wales/gupton-farm-campsite

or there's Bosherston Farm campsite, but I have no details for that one.

Bosherston campsite,  very welcoming to groups. Don't have to book just rock up and the farmer comes around in the morning on his quad with his dogs on the back. Close to good climbing and walking distance to a pub. Basic but cheap (£5 a person last time I was there)

Bosherton Camping (Alternative Field)

That's 'Simon's Field' (as opposed to the old 'Vicar's Field' next to it).  We stayed there this weekend just gone.  Gorgeous weather, portaloos, tap and sink but no showers.  Now £6 a night.  Bargain.

Thanks very much for the tips. I'll look into both of those.

Yep. Simons is the best site in my book and you can walk to the pub. Added excitement of machine gun fire and tracers on night firing days.
