Hello, 

Me and a few friends have just completed Scaffel Pike via the corridor route. We believe we got lost a little bit and ended up having to climb through a gully on a near vertical drop just below Lambfoot Dub. 
 

Does anyone know the name of this Gill and have photos?

I have attached a screenshot of the part of the route I’m talking about and a photo of the section we went over just before coming to this difficult part. It was a big enough drop from a small ledge that it seemed like certain death. 
 

Any further information about if anyone has also gone wrong here would be great. We did the corridor route but in reverse turning left at the beginning of the ascent. 

It looks like the normal corridor route to me, that section is known as the bad step, the area is just called Greta Gill on OS but isn't named on the 1:25k or 1:50k maps.

As above, you were on the right route.  Those slanting slabs are tricky when wet.  Great route!
