AKU launches new Rock DFS with new and exclusive Dual Fit System technology
Following in the footsteps of the successful Rock GTX launched in 2010 and the revised Rock II GTX model in 2013 comes the new Rock DFS from AKU, a technical approach and light climbing shoe with a new and exclusive Dual Fit System for enhanced comfort, whether walking or climbing.
So how does this new revolutionary double lacing Dual Fit System actually work? Well, the traditional lacing ensures maximum comfort for when using the Rock DFS for walking then there's a fast-lacing option which allows precision for when climbing.
Along with the new Dual Fit System a new last has been developed for the Rock DFS 2021 model to further improve comfort for hard approach routes, along with a low toe box and tip for precision whilst climbing. What's more, a rubber rand offers high protection from rock abrasion.
The Vibram Approcciosa sole with Megagrip provides maximum grip, complete with a specific climbing zone and handy self cleaning design. In addition, the Rock DFS has AKU's exclusive Elica Natural Stride System to reduce impact and improve fit whilst offering unprecedented grip and stability.
The new Rock DFS is available in a Gore and non-Gore textile version, as well as mid and low options, with the women's Rock DFS being designed with the female plantar anatomy in mind.
