A short swim. Check tides carefully - retreat will be problematic at high tide (a Tyrolean is not possible).

Please avoid creating cairns above site access. Be aware of nesting sea birds and their habitat. Staff and volunteers monitor the sea clifs and stacks fornightly for schedule 1 species and sea bird counts. We value any sightings and information from climbers and can direct anything to [email protected].
"To protect nesting peregrine falcons, we advise no climbing or scrambling on the stack between 1 March 30 June inclusive each year and will be updated for 2024 season. Alternative climbs available – “Sandwood Bay Crags”. This temporary restriction will be monitored, regularly reviewed and will be lifted early if nesting circumstances change.
