Surrounded by dense forest and in the valley below Lion Rock is an arrow shaped block of easily accessible rock with a brace of several challenging wall climbs. The crag appears to have potential for a generous number of routes but disappointingly the block is overwhelmingly overhanging and devoid of holds. The climbing is technical in nature and clustered on the east side providing shade all afternoon.
Take the MTR to Lok Fu station or Wong Tai Sin station and take a taxi to the Lion Rock Recreational Area (Sze Tse San) just off Chuk Yuen Road. Opposite the gated entrance to the recreational area the road leads towards residential tower blocks and after five minutes ends at the entrance to the Ma Chai Hang covered water reservoir. Just before the reservoir entrance gates, a trail leads up into the forest and to Arrow Rock after less than 10 minutes walk.
