Rocktype Ice
Altitude 2760m a.s.l
A small gorge just a 10 minute walk form Telluride. Abseil into the gorge from trees. A nice little gorge with enough to keep one happy for a cragging day. Excellent fat ice when we went.
Walk up Bear Creek Trail from the town. Look out for boot pack trails cutting out left to the cliff edge after 10-15mins. The abseils should be obvious depending on how much snow there is or how recently other have been there.
Be cautious if a high avalanche forcast.
