There are four climbing areas around the village of Benaocaz, nestled in the mountainous area of Sierra Grazalema. These all have different aspects meaning it is possible to find shade all day. The crags all have a slightly diffferent style and rock type, so it is worth making a visit to each area.
La Veredilla is the largest area, and has easy access meaning that it is somewhat busier than the other areas. Aguas Nuevas is the other main area, again with easy access, and faces north west, staying in the shade for most of the day. Diaclasa and La Raja are quieter & Ojo del Moro is usually not busy on account of its slightly longer walk in.
The parking for each of the four main ZONAS is marked on the map in UKC. The butresses of each ZONA are also marked on the map on UKC. Walk in is obvious for each area, for Ojo del Moro, follow the trail signs.
Designated as a climbing area within the National Park of Grazalema Management Plan, so no access issues. However please treat the environment with respect in this delicate area
