It is common knowledge that the main Frodsham crag included in the Cheshire & Merseyside guidebook is not actually in Frodsham - its real name is Woodhouse Hill - and that the crags above Frodhsam village on the other side of Jacob's Ladder (aka The Baker's Dozen Steps) on the way to the war memorial are composed of poor, soft rock and are unsuitable for climbing. While this is generally true, there are some outcrops of more solid rock which are similar to the main crag and worthy of description.
Crag has many buttresses hidden and probably still some to find.

Overton Neb is a short distance away along Simons Lane
Park near war memorial gates on Simons Lane.....walk to war memorial turn left walk for around 300m and on it goes......If the car park for the war memorial is busy you can park in the top left hand corner of the hotel car park nearby - direct access to path.
