The lush Grand Wall forest is the region where the first, real Squamish boulder problems were developed and the area remains immensely popular to this day. The biggest draw to the Grand Wall forest is the sheer density and diversity of problems. Hundreds of boulders are accessible within a ten-minute walk of the parking lot and virtually every style of climb imaginable is represented. All the granite boulders are located under the thick canopy of the forest, which protects the boulders in light rain and provides extensive shade in the summer. Many consider this forest a year round bouldering area.
Easy access from the main chief carpark and the campsite.
