A lovely little quarry, with a selection of decent routes, some of which are excellent. It's a real suntrap and very tranquil.
Very easy...a few metres off the public footpath.
No dogs, no groups and a low profile are advised. At one point the owners were very friendly and the few climbers who ever visited got on well if they met them. These days the owners seem less keen on climbers. It's such a shame as the last time we were there we kicked out some local youths who were trying to start a fire after several dry weeks, and I'm sure we averted a bit of an inferno.
The owners were originally very friendly, then went a bit the other way for some reason. I would absolutely recommend climbing here - the best routes are the two E1s and the E3. What a lovely place! Frank the Husky - 20/Dec/22 |
