Some climbs on the north face, however, the noteworthy climb is the ridge. It is often compared to the Jubiläumsgrat, though shorter and harder.
From the Kreuzeck or Osterfelderkopf head towards the Schöngänge in order to pass over the Bernadeinwand. From there descend towards the Stuibensee. The routes on the north face can be accessed by walking further up the Grieskar. The Blassengrat is accessed by first climbing the Hoher Gaif from the southeast.
