A non-tidal crag just below the cliffpath. Rock quality is fine apart from the western end near the gully. No bird restrictions, belays can be a little tricky to setup on the very top of the crag, but FDFD etc are fine.
On the opposite side of the cwm is another small butress known as 'Stake sunday' or 'Hunter's crag'. There are good stake belays on top and a couple of lines suitable for youth groups.
Park at Icart carpark and head east (left) along the cliffpath. After about 50m you'll see an obvious buttress down and right as you walk past it. Scramble into either side of the base, brambly in summer.
17 July 2023 - Still accessible but look pretty overgrown with Ivy and lots of lichen. Will take some cleaning. Barney Williams - 24/Jul/23 |
