Kambah Rocks is a popular crag located just a short distance away from the heart of Canberra. The climbs are most often top-roped and there are several bolted anchors. Only one of the routes is bolted and most can be lead on trad gear if you are desperate.
This crag gets little sun so it's not a great option for winter - but cool on summer afternoons after 1 pm when the shade starts to appear. You can also swim in the river. There is a descent trail at the righthand end of the crag.
There are several options for parking - at the nearby Kambah Pool, at Gleneagles Estate, or next to a private property nearby to Kambah Pool. It's about a 20 minute walk from the parking area for Kambah Pool. The cliff itself can be found at google map coordinates -35.405737, 149.027247.
