The Bog Wall - Kishorn. © Alex the Alex
Commanding views over Loch Kishorn with a feeling of being dwarfed by the scenery surrounding the Bealach na Ba and some of the most aesthetic rock in the UK. The sandstone is of impeccable quality with an abundance of problems at the easier end of the grading scale along with some classic mid grade and harder problems. The Kishorn Stone remains the centrepiece, but the Russel Boulder, Brains Boulder and Swamp Boulders are well worth a look too with a mix of easy slabs and walls, and harder fingery wall problems, as well as some burlier testpieces on the Russel boulder. Kishorn Stone and the Russel Boulder are dry, but worth bringing a tarp and wellies for the others. Watch for ticks in the summer.
Park comsiderably down by the bridge or further up in the rough carpark looking up at the Baelach. Do not block the gate to the hydro scheme. 5-15min at most to the boulders.
