2 buttresses of pocketed limestone, Generally slabby to vertical climbing with a couple of steep cave routes in the Haunritzer Wand . Märchenland has slightly mossy starts so could be slippery after wet weather.
As you exit the village of Haunritz heading towards the village of Högen there is a 'Kneippanlage' on the right hand side. The 'Kneippanlage' is a metal railing in the stream for people to hold on to and walk around in the cold water, allegedly to improve circulation. There is a pedestrian bridge over the stream leading to a couple of picnic tables and the aforementioned railing in the stream. Park here on the side of the road. Cross the stream and then go past the picnic tables and into the woods on a steep path. Alternatively, turn right after the picnic tables and along the edge of the woods on a marked walking route until you get to a path which leads into the woods and up at a more gentle angle. The crag is 50-100m away, depending on which path you take.
