βeta: The SMC description about where to abb into pink walls very specifically describes the wrong place. If you abb from the ledge below the rock pool as described you end up having to do an additional loose birdy traverse pitch to gain the ledge at the bottom of pink walls. Abb from a point 20-30m east of the described point. | βeta?

βeta: Good yellow totem for the crux. Agree with Andy Moles. Pink walls seems toughly graded on the whole when compared to the rest of the Hebrides. Both the E3s are tope end or low E4, this is most likely E5 (just bottom end). Probably feels E4 if you climb E6 as the pump will probably stay manageable.

βeta: Agree with most others that the downgrade is inconsistent with other island grades - too pumpy and sustained for E4. Definitely a 6a move leaving Cormorant as well. Four star pitch.
