The cliffs are clean and unvegetated and offer fine, short routes at most grades on generally good rock. Pendeen is a good afternoon or evening venue, with the benefit of some of the shortest approaches in the area.
The Pendeen cliffs lie below and to the west of Pendeen Lighthouse, which is reached from the B3306 at Portheras Cross. There is ample parking at the road end above the lighthouse.
