A bit of a weird one. A volcanic plug of basalt next to a motorway rest area! A novel climbing experience in an area lacking in crags.
The crag can actually be accessed from the parking on the southbound A49. Unfortunately this brings with it some problems with crap and rubbish next to the motorway.
A free topo for some of the bouldering can be found here: http://openeye-photography.com/upload_dir/files/Bouldern%20am%20Scharfen%20Stein.pdf
As noted you can access the rocks from the motorway.
Far better is to park on the west edge of Dissen on Zum Scharfenstein and then follow tracks west to access the rocks.
