A lovely suntrap and escape from the touroids on Simonside. The routes, such as they are, are great.
From the Lordenshaws Forestry Car Park head along the forestry roads up to the Simonside Plateau. Go past Simonside Crag, and then southe between the wood and the crag. A path of sorts leads down to the cove.
