The Tallistock at 2579m is the peak to the west of the Gadmerflue in the eastern Bernese alps, on the north side of the Sustenpass. The south wall of steep limestone is up to 600m high and contains several hard alpine rock climbs. Recently, all the belays have been retrobolted and so greatly reducing the seriousness of the routes. There is also a worthwhile klettersteig, about 1km east of the peak.
Access is by telecabin from the Sustenpass road near Gadmen.
Only 6chf one way on the cable car. Surprisingly cheap for switzerland. Mike-W-99 - 12/Jul/15 |
