Hi all,
Does anyone have any good knowledge or online resources for any via ferrata in the Dordogne area of France?
On holiday with family there next week; if I get an hour or two to escape...
TVM
The only one that I have come across is in the grounds of this place. Included in the entrance fee, all equipment supplied, good fun. Easy enough for children.
Château de Marqueyssac
We did the one at Argentat last Easter, it was quite easy for us and from memory it would be fine for kids.

That would be that one. https://www.ukclimbing.com/photos/dbpage.php?id=331848 No point taking any of your own kit, you have to use theirs, I guess for insurance/safety reasons. You get a hair net for free!
As well as the one in the chateau grounds, there is this more normal one (you rock up and use your own kit) which was fun when I did it with my kids who were about 13 and 15 at the time. They had no problems. https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/saint-martial_entraygues-26935/
