We are looking for passionate climbers to join our team as Duty Managers.
We have been the market leader in delivering a fun, inclusive, and rewarding indoor climbing experiences since the opening of our first centre in the amazing St Benedict’s Church, Manchester, in 2005. We offer climbing for everyone, building a passionate community that inspires and grows the next generation of climbers.
Our Duty Managers are responsible for the day to day running of the centre, mentoring the instructor and reception team to create an atmosphere where customers can have fun, try climbing for the first time, and improve their fitness in an inclusive environment, underpinned by the highest standards of safety, customer service and positive team engagement. In line with our opening hours it is vital that our duty manager team are prepared to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
As well as being responsible for the day to day running of the centre, each Duty Manager will have their own areas of responsibility to manage and develop with the support of the site and company Management team.
Areas of responsibilities include:
Coaching and Youth Programme Development
Staff Development and Training
Scheduling and Admin
Route Setting
Social Media
Retail

The Duty Manager team will be well supported by an experienced management team and will play a key role in the future development of the centre. We will provide training and development to ensure that you flourish in the role and grow with the company.
