Very close to St Joseph's tea room, beyond a forest playground, lies a rock guarded by a foul swamp. This is a clever ruse to deter climbers from the fine pair of overhanging aretes bound by a vicious crack that hide just round the other side of this undocumented tor.
The tea room does a nice scone, but isn't currently keen on climbers, it closes at 4pm and all day on a Monday. You can also get to the crag from the big car park at Mount st Bernards abbey, or from the fast main Abbey road. If you hop a fence or wall, use all your climbing skills to ensure that no damage is done to structures built by people who took pride in their work and it was likely raining while they did it.
Climbing should be low key, nearby residents, possibly warrior monks.
