Grisset (or Guet Fulen) can be ascended from the south side with some scrambling near the top, which is a change from plodding up steep grass and then the scree fields. Although the two possible routes are given the same grade (T5) in the SAC guide as the easiest routes on the nearby Bös Fulen peak, the routes here are an easier proposition. Nevertheless the final 50m or so of scrambly ascent still requires an Alpine sensibility regarding loose rock and route finding judgement.
From Braunwald the chairlift to Gumen (1900m) reduces the ascent to the summit to ca.950m from 1600m. Ascent from other directions possible but longer.
