George Wright on Nitting Haws scramble © Crofty
Exceedingly convenient if you happen to be staying at the Hollow Farm campsite - especially on the upper tier. The ridge offers a decent grade 2 scramble but it, like the rock climbs themselves, prove pretty damn slippery in wet weather (socks over shoes advised on scramble if greasy!). The views are superb, but there is significantly better climbing in the dale. Still, if you want to get away from the crowds of Corvus and Shepherd's and find yourself some interesting sport, then this is not too bad a choice.
