A high granite mountain area in Wyoming's Wind River range.
This entry covers the mountains surrounding Titcomb Lakes and Indian Lakes to the east. The most famous climb is Ellingwood Arete 5.6 which appears in '50 classic climbs in North America'
Best access is from the Elkhart Park trailhead, about 15 road miles west of Pinedale Wyoming. Its then about 12 miles walk in on good trail to Island Lake at the entrance to Titcomb Basin. Great camping around here
