Does anyone know of any cheap accommodation for 1 in Chamonix?
Just looking for a few nights at the end of August.
I don't really want to camp and all other options seem to require me re-mortgaging my house!!
Any suggestions very welcome
Have you tried Gites Vagabond? Used to be good value some years ago, I don't know what it is like now
Vert Lodge is cheap mid week, and a nice place to stay
The last week in August is UTMB week - the busiest week of the year.
Monday 26th August is the start of UTMB week. All the cheap accomodation will have been snapped up ages ago I'm afraid.
Gites Vagabond is all closed now i'm afraid. Has been for the last few years. It was all boarded up last time i strolled past.
