Video Back to the Real Thing - Adam Ondra in The Peak District
Adam Ondra has released his homage to the classic climbing film The Real Thing in his latest video which documents his trip to The Peak District in January.
This week's Friday Night Video features some of the UK's top sport climbers (and one from Spain) going up against Steve McClure's Northern Lights (9a) at Kilnsey, and showcases Josh Ibbertson's ascent, who gives a move-by-move breakdown of the route.
The sustained and technical line was bolted and long attempted by Ben Moon, but ultimately first climbed by Steve McClure in 2000. Josh joins an elite group of strong climbers who have ticked the route, alongside McClure, Adam Ondra, Alex Megos and Will Bosi.
