Slightly off topic but does anyone know where I could leave a van for ~10 days in Chamonix whilst I go back to the UK. Figured it’s cheaper to leave the van than try to drive there/back twice.
Wondered if anyone with vans have done this before. Thanks in advance!
There are loads of semi-permanent grimer vans parked up in the Grand Montets telepherique station cat park, and the road leading up to it from Les Chosalets. The lift station is currently closed for rebuilding, so there doesn’t seem to be any management of parking.
I took some photos this morning, lots of Brit vans (and some converted lorries) lots have been here over a week. 5 min walk from the train or bus back into Cham.
