Spazzacaldera, very easy access and loads of routes in your grade range. Not too high. Enjoy

Really hard to think of anything which is doable in a weekend since you´ll probably be looking at flight +train +bus + walk before you´re even on the rock.

Maybe something in the Wilder Kaiser (Tirol)? (1h by train from Munich or Innsbruck). There are many 3* major and historic classics there from 6-27 (!) pitches on crags such as the Fleischbank or Totenkirchl; the climbing is definitely alpine and not to be underestimated.

At the moment yes because the road beyond St Christophe is closed.
Normally though just 2.5h drive from Lyon airport. 2h hike to Sorellier hut, stay there, do a bunch of routes over 2 days.

North ridge of Grundschartner, not far from Innsbruck.

Maritime Alps. I would recommend fly to Turin, rent a car and drive to the roadhead above Terme di Valdieri, then go up to the Bozano refuge below the Corno Stella.

Alternative is fly to Nice and go up to St Martin Vesubie on the French side - but it has been very heavily affected by storm damage and flooding the past few years. That said, there is some very good climbing there.

Picos De Europa in Northern Spain?  Plenty of flights to Northern Spanish cities.  Was going to go in 2020 so I am sure you can guess the rest regarding what happened.  I started finding out about it and apparently it is pretty stunning.  Wide variety of routes, from walking to scrambling to climbing.  Some refuges and cable cars to enable easy access.

^^ Good suggestion. Wetterstein would be easy - Train down from MUC to Garmisch and cablecar up. Plenty of multipitch rock for a weekend, but even then you're not going to be doing a lot of routes.  Not as many flights being run by Easyjet though nowadays.

Well it is easy to get to airports within a couple of hours drive and get a hire car.

Piz Badile? I know a couple of people who've done the Cassin in a weekend Ryanair to Milan.

Get hold of a 100 or so gallons of fuel and burn it in the back garden? Should be lovely.
