I went to the Southport Air Show at the weekend and saw this beautiful aircraft. Sham it was a dull cloudy day.

Anybody willing to share what they've captured over the years?

I grew up believing that the Swordfish flew so slowly that German naval artillery couldn't track them properly in the sky but sadly it turns out not to be true.

Anyone know what this is? Spotted at Toulouse airport recently.

Could be a C-17 Globemaster? One of those big military transport jets. I think the late Queen's final journey from Scotland was in one of those.

Thanks.  I was bit puzzled as to what it was doing in a civilian airport but Toulouse has all sorts because of Airbus being next door ( like the fleet of Belugas parked there).

it seems that smaller airports can get the niche stuff. Shannon had the massive six engine Antonov visit....

Not exactly military, but from the same Air Show at Southport. These acrobats are phenomenally brave. I thought that they were strapped in, but that was until I started editing the images and discovered the exact opposite.

Loads of Airbus factories around Toulouse that make several military aircraft. Urgent heavy parts, engines etc?

This is possibly by best Red Arrow shot this year.
